Summary:
Assistant the Quality Manager and Production associates in their daily activities.
This position has a variety of duties throughout the plant covering both office and operational areas.
There is no lack of variety in this position and there is potential for upward growth.
Essential Functions & Key
Responsibilities:
Perform first piece inspections on new products Perform quality tests for several production departments Perform metallurgical tests on certified equipment Inspect, document and troubleshoot customer returns Assist tooling engineer to improve and document production tooling Perform internal audits Assist with ISO 9001 upkeep and audits May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Experience/Knowledge and General
Qualifications:
High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
College Degree Preferred 2 or more year related experience.
Computer proficient including Microsoft Suite Experience with MRP systems preferred Presents self in a highly professional manner to others and understands that honesty and ethics are essential.
Ability to maintain a positive attitude and a willingness to be open to learning and growing.
Ability to communicate with co-workers and other departments with professionalism and respect.
Maintains a professional relationship with all coworkers, vendor representatives, supervisors, managers, customers, and client representatives.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is primarily in a controlled, temperate environment; however, may be exposed to heat/cold during support of manufacturing activities.
Sitting at workstation approximately 50% of work time, walking approximately 50% Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull, and occasionally lift/move 50 pounds.
